Just replaced a fuel return hose. But noticed the old one had restrictors in it? Old one looked like the original. I just replaced it with a normal 12bar hose, should i have put one with retrictors in for some reason?

ok. Thanks. don't spose you know why the original had restrictors in it. Possibly as stops so the robots knew how far to put the hoses on?

It's to increase static fuel pressure. Put them in.

Dang. I guess i could try cut them out of the old hose and shove them down the new one but they look really tight.

Is my fuel pump prob working harder without them or maybe running lean now?

Your fuel pump won't be working as hard now and you could be possibly on the lean side of things. It's hard to say though, it could be a matter of 1psi difference in fuel pressure but the only real way is to check it out on a dyno and log fuel pressure.
