Rolled Cambers

bmw 323i e21 questions

Recommended Posts

Hey people, i took my e21 to get the water pump replaced today, and asked about a manual conversion kit for it.

He told me, swap all the parts + $900 ontop.

Just to make sure i get all the parts, this is the list i have:

Manual Transmission

Transmission cross-member (would it be the same as auto or na?)

Clutch

Flywheel

Pressure plate

throw out bearing

Clutch Master cylinder

Slave cylinder

All Hydraulic lines ( from clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder. )

Clutch Fork

The selecting rod stabilizing sleeve thing... :S

Shifter linkage

Shifter shaft

Pedal Box- clutch pedal cluster..

The brake and clutch arms.

Drive shaft

3.91 LSD Differential (is this needed? can i use the diff on the car atm? or should i just go the lsd and do it at the same time??)

Leather shift Boot

Shift Knob

Do i have anything missing from here??

I will be doing this my self, as soon as they get all the parts together.

Yeah that sound like all you would need.you wont need to change the diff it will just have different ratios and youll get better performance out of a manual lsd

Thanks, ill try that site, do they have a for sale section?

Bm's R us, in rezzy said itll take months for them to get the parts, need it done before christmas.

True forgot the spigot bush

And yeah ceffy of course lol

Hopefully i can make a write up for the conversion and slap it on the eurotuned section, could also give others a rough idea for silvia a-m conversions as well.

Edit:

ECCA, dont allow registration with hotmal/yahoo etc, wth can i use?
