2010 albums you're looking forward to

Recommended Posts

If you know of anything that's being released this year post it up, keep others informed with as much info as possible.

I'm looking forward to the following:

Evergreen Terrace - due March

The Mark Of Cain - possibly march

Truth Corroded

Tool - currently in the jamming process

Five Star Prison Cell - due March

Others I know of that are due for release:

Deftones

I hope Tool make something decent this time around.

Tesseract ditched their crappy singer and they now have a good one so I'm looking forward to the day they finally release an album (been following them on myspace for a while).

Wouldn't surprise me if he did, but at the same point I wouldn't be surprised if the two of them created the rumours themselves to maintain a level of public intrigue. The same ploy has sold Marilyn Manson a stupid amount of albums.

Agreed on the sub standard dre/snoop. Way too "Poppy" for my liking

Plus 1 on the Wu Massacre and JMT/AOTP

The Gaslight Anthem and Emarosa, both due in June. 2 other "most anticipateds" have already come out - "The Upsides" by The Wonder Years and "This Addiction" by Alkaline Trio. It'll take something amazing to knock The Wonder Years off for album of the year, but the 2 new songs Emarosa played at Soundwave were pretty promising.

As mainstream as it will be, I really can't wait to get my hands on the Slash album.

I also hear KSE is touring with Phil Labonte (Ex Shadows Fall, current All that remains frontman) as Howard has left due to 'unforeseen circumstances'...

KSE should have got jesse back !

They never should've let him go, he was way better than Howie.

Can't say i'm anticipating the Cog DVD, they annoy me as much as the Butterfly Effect does

Yeah I know he quit, I meant it as in they simply shouldn't have let him walk out on them as he was the best vocalist they've had.

I saw Cog and The Butterfly Effect years ago at the same gig in Adelaide, both lead singers carried on like knobs. The clown from Cog stood there and spouted shit like 'Do you ever wonder (long pause) where you go (long pause) when you die (looong pause)'. Came across a complete knob 'ooh look at me, i'm all mysterious and self reflective'.
