When this forum started as a stand alone venture, I was dubious that it would work seeing as this is a car forum. I didnt think it would be taken seriously, you know, just a bunch of car guys doing curls talking shit.

 

It appears that any newcomer who joins has a similar view, " I've trained for 6 weeks, I'll show these car guys what a real lifter can do"

 

If you think like this, f**k off now, your not wanted or needed. Take a day to read the threads, get a feel for the forum, see how much experience some of the guys have, check out how they train in the training logs section.

 

In my gym alone, I have over 39 guys deadlifting 200kg.

 

I have a 68kg 17yo squatting 155kg, powercleaning 110kg, deadlifting 180kg, squatting 100kg x 20

 

We have 10 guys squatting 4 plates and over, it will be around 12 by the BATB3 comp.

 

We have a guy that reps out 3 plates in the front squat. He also deadlifts 240kg @ 79kg bodyweight, thats triple bodyweight

 

We have 10 guys benching 3 plates or more, will be around 12 by the comp.

 

We have a guy who squats 190kg, deadlifts 265kg and benches 150kg

 

We have another guy who deadlifts 250kg, cleans 126kg.

 

we have a 61kg guy who benches 90kg and squats 100kg x 20

 

We have a guy who benches bodyweight for 27 reps

 

We have a female lifter with 6 state powerlifting records.

 

We have a guy pressing 115kg overhead. He also push presses 133kg from the rack

 

We have had members compete in the National Powerlifting Titles.

 

These are serious weights. Most gyms wouldnt have one guy capable of these lifts. Dont be fooled by the car section, this is a full on weights forum.

 

If you come on and start telling us were all wrong, or your way is better, you better be lifting more than most or have an awesome physique, because some of the guys on here are really built and hoist some very impressive weights.

 

We have guys repping with over double bodyweight in the squats, we have a guy that can do 30 chins, we have a woman that can do 16 for f**ks sake.

 

We have a 16yo that squats 205kg, benches 140kg and deadlifts 210kg. He is training with the SAIS trying to make the Olympic weightlifting team.

 

We have a 75kg lifter who squats 235kg and deadlifts the same.

 

We have 2 lifters who press 2 plates overhead.

 

We have a 3 lifters who are squatting around 3 plates for 20 reps.

 

How about a 65kg guy deadlifting 200kg, over triple bodyweight.

 

This forum is littered with serious lifters, and all the guys on here encourage each other, we have one big comp a year and a few smaller ones during the year.

 

I want to have double the ammount of members that we currently have, but we have no need for f**kheads. Thats my job.

 

If you do not heed this warning, then all bets are off, you will be set upon if you start up with the wrong attitude.

How many shakes a day do i need to get big like Arnie?

 

Cause i'm taking 7 a day atm and it doesn't seem to be working. Am I not taking enough?

7 is fine but you need to put raw eggs in them and concentrate on preacher curls, tricep kickbacks and leg extensions. m&m did I do good?

the seven shakes probably lack the anabolic steroids that arnie had :blink: but if that pic is of you you're looking pretty big as is man!

My post was 100% pure sarcasmn also.... i thought lucozade had steroids in it anyway?

how can anybody so big fit in a car like a silvia??? i'm big but not that big and struggle to fit properly.

Can all new participators in this forum please browse through article directory before posting.

 

Every week theres some new guy asking how to lose/gain weight or get fit/strong. Pretty much all the info you're likely to need is in the article directory or the pinned threads.

 

So save yourself a flaming and get reading. :)

taking too much protein can also have a reversing effect, got to take the right amount based on your body weight
