Yes, don't put bc springs in an sr with vtc. There to stiff. If it's an s13 or s14 series one it will be fine

Nah gonna delete vct so should be sweet

don't be another moron... don't delete VCT...

you also wanted to run a massive f off turbo with a massive f off rear housing

how you going to spool it without low down torque/exhaust flow generated from the VCT increasing cylinder pressure?

Keep vtc. The sr is gutless enough down low with the vtc operational, it will be much worse without it.

(John beat me to it).

Please learn what things are called before buying them and know why you need them or don't buy them until you do actually know why you need a certain part. You will save a awful amount of money by not buying parts that don't work with each other.

if you read what everyone is saying, you'll see its not that it causes problems when you remove it, you just lose any low end torque.

When i say any problems that includes down low torque aswell my power starts coming on early and pulls right the way to the limiter

What do you call a "fully worked head"?

Red speckle paint.

Dont know what else you can do it. Havent noticed any lag as its quite responsive. Also it is set up for drag and has a manulized auto behind it

I was told if you have high power you don't need it?

I'm wanting over 400ho so I was told it won't do anything

which idiot told you that?

VCT doesn't contribute to top end power, but it does everything low end.. it makes the motor produce more low down torque, thus spooling up the turbo earlier, not to mention it will make more power off boost than a motor without VCT.

Like I said earlier on, if you're building a drag car OR a drifter and only sees 5k+ rpm all the time, then VCT isn't really needed.. but you've mentioned in your requirements a motor that isn't laggy

then VCT is a must and a smaller turbo.. your .82 housing and no vct is a recipe for depression and suicide once you've pumped 10k into a laggy piece of shit that would probably get smoked by a mildly modded Honda Civic
