  2. R33 GTST Caliper Upgrade /s13: wheel offset

S15 wheels should clear the front. I know 100% they do the rear. But as Blingy said. If the design of the wheel is flat or concave will make a big difference.
  3. My passion!

Hey Everyone, Not much of an update really. I sold the Enkei RS05RR wheels. I really loved them but they sort of weren't suited for the car and didn't go with the 90's theme I've tried to keep. So i pulled the pin and purchased a brand new set of RAYS TE37 in bronze. I had these specially ordered because these are discontinued sizes so i had to wait quite a while. Sizes are F: 17x9 +15 R: 18x9.5 +12 Purchased some Bridgestone Potenza RE003 after all the biased reviews i read LOL... jk I actually had a real good experience with RE-01 at one point so i decided to piss federals off and get quality. Also some new MCA Suspension wheel nuts. Just want to sort alignment out and bring the rear camber in a bit and give the front a bit more camber. Thanks for stopping by
  4. My passion!

Hi Everyone, I know not many people are on this site anymore. But fuck it! I'll update it anyway. No big update unfortunately. Sorry lol. Only real update is that i finally had the Koguchi Power hood i purchased years ago installed. Think this will be the first and last piece of fibreglass i put on the car. For a well branded hood the fit and finish was not as good as i thought. But after the headaches it's finally on and i think it looks awesome. Also had the following installed just to help. Custom airbox made up due to bonnet vents to stop water hitting the pod. Optima yellow top battery installed because i'm not driving the car too often. Custom catch can made and relocated. I'm loving this car at the moment. Drives like a dream. It's great on boost/brakes/corners.
  5. S15 hits limiter at 5500rpm

    Cooler pipe blown?
  6. My passion!

Took the car for a photo shoot the other weekend with my girlfriends S15. This was just taken with my phone but i'll post the proper pics once i have them. Thanks
  7. Hope all go's well mate. This a fucked up situation. I can't imagine what bright spark went off in their head when they did that shit.
  8. things that annoy you

People that take their food out of the microwave with 1 second left. Then don't clear the timer.
  9. on my way to 200rwkw

My S15 makes 200rwkw @ 15psi with the following mods. - FMIC - Full turbo back exhaust - Bosch 040 fuel pump - Stock injectors/AFM/T28 - Nistune - Turbosmart Electronic boost controller I've got the dyno sheet to prove it made 200kw but to me it seems like a happy dyno.
  10. Hey Guys/Gals, I've tried searching first before i did ask this but i don't think anyone will seem to mind if this is a repost because it gives people a chance to answer a question and help me out and get this forum going again. I'm having some brake booster issues as you can see below in the picture. I was forced to remove mine with the Ikeya Plenum. Currently have the Chasebays delete kit. I took the car for a quick drive today just to see how it feels and it seems to be alright and i could get used to it. You just need to really stand on the brakes to get it to pull up fast. I'm just wondering if i decide to go back to a brake booster option. Are there smaller alternatives rather than a stock one that i can squeeze in there? Would it be worth setting up a remote brake booster hot rod style in the boot? The brakes are Greddy 6pot calipers w/355 rotors front & R33 GTR Brembo in rear. Any help is appreciated. Thank you,
  11. That's a great piece of information right there. Thank you very much. Makes a lot of sense since the Type X came out with ABS standard which is probably why it wasn't fitting.
  12. SOLD

Don't do it Maq!! This thing is mint! Whoever buys will be getting a mint example.
  13. good tuners Melbourne 180sx

Apexi PowerFC is pretty old technology now days. I just recently took out the PowerFC i bought 5 years ago for a Haltech Platinum Pro. Couldn't be happier. Save your money and get something good.
  14. Let's Talk Brake Pads!

Great write up from everyone. I might consider the Intima D pads for my car. I have greddy 6pot calipers though so i don't know what is compatible yet Will have to confirm with you on that one.
  15. 50. S15 weekend car. ^^ Respect!!
  16. My passion!

So i finally got the car back!! Unfortunately i couldn't take it for a good enough drive though as i had other things i had to do this weekend. Car made 260kw on 18psi. So a bit of a power increase from last time with the same amount of boost. The tune is much healthier with the cam's and gears adjusted accordingly. There is a lot less timing thrown into it which pleases my paranoia, the injectors aren't even close to the limit which also makes me happy. The boost come on a lot better and slightly earlier. The old TD06 still has the punch it used to The mid range is way way better thanks to the ikeya plenum and it doesn't really sound like a SR engine anymore which is a bit weird. Overall not a big increase in power, but with better reliability and the increase in torque/mid range punch i couldn't be happier. Felt good to be behind the wheel again
  17. This could be the same booster that i'm thinking of. I'm finding it pretty difficult to heel-toe without the booster now. You cant place half a foot on the brake pedal and have it slow down fast enough. You need to be pushing with full force to pull it up.
  18. Found a picture of the booster that will work. Anyone care to elaborate what this is from? Kind Regards,
  19. So i took it for a proper drive yesterday. I get the car back into my own hands tomorrow. Brake pedal feel is considerably bad. You start pushing brakes and it barely bites and you gotta push really really hard to get it to stop quickly. So i did some researching to try resolve this issue and I looking through old s-chassis builds wherever i could find them. Found a particular guy in JDMST forum who is running an S13 Ikeya Formula Plenum on his 180. He seems to be running a brake booster on his car just fine with very tight clearance. It looks to be CA18 brake booster though. Can anyone confirm if CA brake booster is a bit smaller than SR? Thanks
  20. Don't think any of us want to let them go LOL. I love it too much and i don't see as much of them anymore on the road. Especially ones in good condition.
  21. 27 years old. My 180sx has been my first car since i was 18. Have owned it for nearly 10 years obviously. Haven't driven it at all in 2 years due to fuck arounds and getting new shit put it in. I have considering selling it at one point when it had blown engine and thought i'll never get it going again. But it's honestly my pride and joy and i'll never get rid of it. Also have an S15 daily driver.
