  1. Hello I have a 60k old s15 srdet block here. Im doing an s13 head conversion & want to swap with some1 if their block is in good condition. Cannot be overbored as Ive ordered 87mm forgies. Located Sth East Suburbs VIC 0421816754
  2. External Wastegates Plumb Back ?

bump** bugger it im goin external too
  3. any clear lights to suit s14a front bar??
  4. i got an xr6 unit on my shelf for next build i rekn!! why waste such a pretty thing!!
  5. Massive Leak?

u need to take the roof lining off. when u get your next downpoor of rain.....sit in the car and just inspect. i rekn its sun roof. s13 sunroof draining systems tend to bugger up after a while
  6. Bump***Update The car is absoutely spastic!! Only issue now is maybe opting for a 264 intake cam opposed to the straight 272bc cams. Man oh man just a baby tune to get it goin atm, on 16psi makes 230kw easily. With bugger all timing. The diff gearing of the s14 is fantastic. Going to get a rerune next week and still aiming for 270-280kw. Revs out nice & pulls hard to 7800rpm rhus far. Cams dont feel too big. Altgough willing to do a back to back comparison and see how much extra meat there is in the power curve. Next tune.....22-24psi. sikk car feels tough
  7. dyno with gt2835 kw numbers

I have strung together More I my build (2835 +.86 custom) Keen to know...! How did this build end up??
  8. one week left. All the parts have come in now just waiting for the block to come back from the shop! I have gone with 850cc injectors again & have decided not to use e85 due to the lack of consistency(from word going around) Bloody bought a bosch 044 from ebay that was apparently NEW> came to me as an opened box with some dodgy chines copy 044 so have to patch that up quick! WIll post up pics soon of the build.
  9. I think I wore a hole in my touch pad on the laptop from scrolling though the 'awesome' responses.. you need to do a summary and cut through the 11 pages of ramble.. very impressive though.. even to show powertunes commitment to R+D.. something just says to me dont do the 272's with the 2835.. too big.. and that it wont do 10's.. and on e85 the 850's would be a bad idea.. but I ant going into to much thought trying to work at the same time.. was thinking about it.. 6262 and 2835.. 200hp difference between the two ? maybe thats whats got me thinking.. 200hp difference between the two ? maybe thats whats got me thinking.. yeah alot is trial and error!! You were correct to say that with the 2835 I still like response for sure. The 2871r was a great turbo, but even Donny raves on about the 3071r setups, so I thought id go in between just to see what I can come up with!!! Over the years, and 100's of hours researching, I hope I have enough knowledge to at least get a good feeling of success when its done & tuned how I want it,.... And you guys are correct i may be wrong with a few things especially the capacity... Athough I must ad, nistune & 850cc I have decided to sell them along with my s15 & go with some id1000's............ And I guess if it doesnt reach my goals ill have to re assess again & aim higher!!! Thanks everyone so far for the feedback...
  10. Without stealing his ideas I am aiming for something along the lines of his setup as I really admire what they have done with the s14!!! yeah haltech p1000, big work hooking it up but it does have so many options.
  11. sorry i must have misunderstood chris when he was doing the maths..
  12. I u nderstand the t3 footprint will alleviate so much extra potential, well one day i may use the skyline rear housing on this unit to upgrade how wel il it breathes up top of the range. The island says that 23-25psi seems to be the sweet spot for this cropped turbo. The reason for the .86 is to work hand in hand with the large cams in order to raise the sweet spot just a tad to keep it on boost for a bit longer. Stretch its legs so to speak. If your into drag of coarse you dont like t2 that i understand. Nor should I although I always wanted to try the 2835. Next would be HKS t04z with 10000rpm nothing else...... why dont you like .86 housing?? From my knowledge Its basically the same flow as the skyline t3 .63....size vs flow. the 52trim from comp was the iffy choice in the matter... but yeah
